For Woolworths, community is everything. We're deeply committed to supporting services that help people in times of need.

Our people are central to fundraising. It's their skills, knowledge and ingenuity that have led to all kinds of initiatives and activities to raise money.

Children's hospitals
We've raised more than $12 million for children's hospitals across Australia.

Australia Day Ambassador Program
We're the sole sponsor of the Australia Day Ambassador Program, sending high achieving Australians to participate in Australia Day celebrations.

The environment
The environment is important to us and we've taken on a number of projects to help reduce our impact on the environment. We concentrate on aspects such as:

reducing energy consumption
reducing waste and fuel usage
increasing recycling.

Harmony Day

Harmony Day is all about diversity and multiculturalism. It's about gaining an understanding of ALL Australians from ALL backgrounds.

We're a major supporter and partner of this event, which happens on 21 March each year.

Other community support
