Good prep can make all the difference!
The interview is your chance to WOW us.
Here's some tips to help you use the interview to show off who you are.
- Rehearse your answers
Before your interview, rehearse answers to some important questions, such as:
- Why do you want the job?
- What are your skills and achievements?
- What will you bring to our business?
- Wear the right clothes
It's important to look and feel confident.
How you present yourself shows us your interest in the job. So wear something smart that you're comfortable in.
- On the day
Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before your interview.
Know where it is, when it is and who'll be interviewing you.
Take your birth certificate, passport and/or current driver's licence to prove you can work in Australia.
If you have them, bring a resume, certificates, references or school reports. Whatever you have that shows you off.
- Arriving
When you come to the interview, tell one of our people what you're there for and who you need to see.
- At the interview
Don't be nervous. Our people can't wait to meet you.
Before you start your interview, take some deep breaths and relax.
Take time to think about your answers and try to give us as much job-related information as possible.
If you don't understand a question, just ask us to repeat it.
At the end of the interview, ask questions if you need to clear up anything.
