Who is the program for?
This course is designed for Year 11 students who wish to get a taste of what retail can offer or for those who know retail is for them and want to get a head start on their career. (This course can start in the last semester of year 10 in some states)

What will I gain from this course?
As you undertake your certificate, you'll gain experience within one of our stores. This will assist you in attaining an overall understanding of the retail business. This program has been designed to help you determine the directions you would like your career to go. At the end of the course you will not only be leaving school with your final marks but also with a nationally recognised qualification in retail

What can I achieve with this certificate?
Certificate II in Retail Store Operations like all the certificates offered within Woolworths Limited are nationally accredited and recognised course. This certificate prepares you for greater responsibility within our business and is an appropriate introduction into a career within a retail environment. 
 
Attendance
Two years on-the-job training using self-paced learning guides is a pre-requisite for this program. The number of hours a student must complete in store varies from state to state but we will assist the students manage those hours with an appropriate spread over the two years taking into account other study commitments.The course also requires off-the-job training in a classroom environment.

Training modules
The training modules, which are covered in the school-based traineeship, are exactly the same as the standard Certificate II process.
