There are a number of different departments within the store that you can progress through to learn all aspects of the business including Fresh Foods, Long Life and Store Services.
Here is a snapshot of some of the store roles:
The role of our Customer Service department is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service within the store in order to maximise sales and exceed customer expectations. You will be responsible for serving the customer at the time of finalising their purchase at the checkout. The duties of this role may also include housekeeping, stock filling, assisting other staff and general store presentation.
The role of Nightfill is responsible for the re-stocking and maintaining stock displays during and after trading hours. The position may involve repetitive heavy lifting and may also require you to work late evenings into the early hours of the morning after the store closes e.g. between 6pm – 5am.
Service Assistant roles can be found through out the store in most departments, be it Deli, Produce, Long Life, Liquor, Meat, Seafood, Perishables or the Bakery. Service Assistants are responsible for assisting the customer at all times, maintaining stock displays and filling stock. Duties may also include housekeeping, assisting staff in other areas and general store presentation.
